DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is the Canadian member firm of the global DLA Piper network, headquartered in Toronto with additional offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, and Edmonton. Chambers Canada describes its Labour and Employment group as "one of Canada's largest of its kind," and the firm's litigators represented Videotron Ltd. in a Federal Court of Appeal patent matter named to Lexpert's Top 10 Business Decisions in both 2023 and 2024. Articling students do not follow a structured rotation and are encouraged to work across as many practice areas as possible, with both solicitors and litigators. As of November 2025, DLA Piper updated its global hybrid policy to require attendance at least three days a week (up from a prior 50% requirement), applying to all non-US offices including Canada.
